StrongPoint is helping Alimerka in Spain to establish in e-commerce
A large Spanish retailer Alimerka has chosen StrongPoint as a supplier for Click & Collect to help start its e-commerce operations with a cost-effective delivery solution. The pilot project is due to start in September 2019, when the first Click & Collect stations will be installed at the selected stores.
“E-commerce is growing, and we are pleased that retailers are preparing for this growth. Alimerka is rightly investing in business that is set to expand significantly. We are excited to assist Alimerka in this growth with the Click & Collect grocery pick-up stations, which are designed for convenient online order pick-up 24/7,” says Eduardo Alvarez, Business Development Manager of StrongPoint Spain.
“We are investing in the grocery pick-up stations since our online customers demand for a more convenient delivery option. With StrongPoint’s Click & Collect we can offer convenient pick-up times, which gives the customers much more freedom to plan their grocery shopping. As the online business develops, we are ready to expand our Click & Collect offer. We already have trusted StrongPoint with a significant installation of CashGuard solution in all of our stores, which reduced time and resources needed for operation and are confident the installation of grocery pick-up stations will be as fruitful,” says Alimerka’s representative.
Upon successful implementation, the company is planning to install 5 additional Click & Collect stations every year.
