StrongPoint has entered into an agreement with global travel retailer Gebr. Heinemann, to provide software development and systems support for their point-of-sales system LS One across 600 stores worldwide.

Rælingen, Norway, October 13, 2020: StrongPoint, the Norwegian retail technology provider, is pleased to announce it has been chosen to supply global travel retailer Heinemann with software development and systems support for their point-of-sale system, LS One (provided by LS Retail). Heinemann uses LS One in over 700 point-of-sales in its 600 duty free and travel shops in airports, cruise ships and border crossings.

Heinemann needed software development and systems support services and chose StrongPoint to provide both. By having a single provider for both services, Heinemann will benefit from a more integrated solution that will deliver faster results.

StrongPoint has over 20 years experience working with retail software solutions and, through this new partnership driven by StrongPoint Baltic, will help deliver better customer experiences for Heinemann’s global chain of stores. LS Retail’s LS One is a world-leading point-of-sale software solution used by businesses of all sizes, from single shops to large retail chains.

“At StrongPoint, we pride ourselves on offering world-class and value for money customers services, and I am proud that Gebr. Heinemann has chosen us to support them around the world. We look forward to working together to create even better customer experiences,” said Jacob Tveraabak, Chief Executive Officer of StrongPoint.

“With StrongPoint, we are gaining a partner that offers technology solutions exclusively for the retail sector, is a long-term partner of the software manufacturer LS Retail and provides its POS services from Lithuania. What particularly convinced us about StrongPoint was their many years of experience with the LS One POS solution, their good customer references and an economically attractive overall package,” said Alexander Messer from Gebr. Heinemann.
