StrongPoint brings cash management to UK forecourts

StrongPoint has just completed the first CashGuard-installation in a UK forecourt petrol station. CashGuard is StrongPoint’s cash management solution that seals and automates the cash processes.

The installation can be seen at the Barrow Service Station in Barrow, outside of Leicester.

“We are off to a great start with bringing the benefits of cash management to forecourts in the UK,” says Marko Ahokas, StrongPoint’s regional director for the UK market.

For forecourts, those benefits include increased security, Ahokas noted. Many forecourts have long opening hours and that means an increased risk of robberies. But with CashGuard, the cash is sealed, so robbers cannot get to them.

“Using CashGuard also saves a lot of time for the staff and enables them to focus on the customer, not the cash,” Ahokas says.
