StrongPoint to launch the Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Locker
StrongPoint today announces its 2020 launch of the Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Locker. The first order is already signed with Axfood in Sweden for 4 pilot lockers to be placed in the Stockholm region.
“The Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Locker is a great addition to our existing Click & Collect offering, and we are excited to work with Axfood to test the solution across locations in Stockholm. With no need for a building permit, the new solution offers increased flexibility by allowing the customers to place the lockers on preferred locations, for example at gas stations. They can also rotate the lockers between different pick-up points, for example to serve end-customers on their way to summer and winter destinations,” says Jacob Tveraabak, Chief Executive Officer of StrongPoint, and continues:
“In addition, we can optimise locker locations based on user experiences and utilisation. The Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Locker is a key tool for new and innovative ways to reach the consumer.”
StrongPoint will launch the Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Locker in 2020, enabling preservation of chilled, frozen and room temperature articles. The new locker adds to the existing Click & Collect locker portfolio, which also includes the StrongPoint Retail Parcel Locker especially suited for a wide variety of non-grocery items.
StrongPoint has entered into an agreement with Axfood for the delivery of 4 Mobile Grocery Click & Collect Lockers, and the first pilot solution is expected to be consumer ready in the Stockholm area during the first half of 2020.
