Now we are looking for a Product Owner for our Retail Solution business area where you will be responsible for our product Click and Collect Cabinets.

Job duties

In the role of Product Owner, you are technically responsible for Click and Collect Cabinets. You will work closely with our development, sales and production department to ensure that we continuously develop the product with the customer experience in focus. As a Product Owner, you will be offered an independent and developing role with varying tasks, where your role will play an important part in a larger puzzle.

StrongPoint’s grocery Click and Collect Cabinets are a cutting-edge solution for modern grocery retail, offering a seamless, contactless pick-up experience for customers. These lockers feature multiple temperature zones to keep groceries fresh, from frozen to ambient, controlled by a high-end refrigeration system and are designed to endure any weather condition. With user-friendly software integration and standard APIs, these lockers ensure effortless management and quick customer access, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction. By leveraging this innovative technology, retailers can stay ahead in the competitive e-commerce landscape, delivering convenience and quality every time.

Your main tasks will be to

  • Have the overall strategic and operational responsibility for including analysing customer needs, future demands, technical aspects, production, delivery, implementation and development.
  • Be the hub between our factories and partners to ensure a seamless delivery and that the product meets customer expectations.
  • Have contact with suppliers and producers to ensure that the product is updated based on both customer needs and market trends. Furthermore, you have control that the right quality and function is maintained within the area.
  • Ensure that the product meets necessary certification standards and regulations of the different markets.
  • Lead and be responsible for the operational work with the product, including production task descriptions and basis for decision on further development.
  • Value and assess proposals and ideas and describe short- and long-term consequences linked to the product.
  • Create conditions and structure for setting requirements, follow-up, delivery and support. 

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong interest in technology and in your future product. You have the ability to review technical designs and apply lessons learned from previous product generations to enhance new product development. As you are the one who ensures that the product is at the forefront of the market, we value creativity and ideas as well as a structured and independent way of working.

Required competencies:

  • University degree and documented equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in English, both speech and in writing.
  • Experience or interest in certification processes.
  • Previous experience working in an iterative approach (Agile way of working).
  • Preferable technical background in cooling systems and/or electronics.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation for factory, partners and various stakeholders.
