Java Developer

You will be an integral member of a passionate and collaborative cross-functional team, dedicated to working with cutting-edge products like ERP and POS systems. The team comprises over 45 professionals, including Product Managers, System Analysts, Quality Assurance engineers, Developers, and various other experts.

We are looking for an enthusiastic developer with a good understanding of Java, PostgreSQL, and other key technologies. You will play a pivotal role in building and refining our POS solution, ensuring its responsiveness and efficiency.

What you will do:

• Develop and maintain our POS solution using Java, PostgreSQL, and other relevant technologies
• Create and manage RESTful services
• Integrate with ActiveMQ for messaging services
• Design and implement front-end solutions using IONIC and AngularJS
• Containerize applications using Docker for easy deployment and scaling
• Ensure system compatibility with Debian distribution (Linux)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize code and infrastructure for maximum speed and scalability

What we expect from you:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in software development
• Strong knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, RESTful services, and ActiveMQ
• Experience with Front-end technologies
• Familiarity with Dockers and Linux
• Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Continuous learning mindset, staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends
• Experience in the retail business is an advantage
• Good English skills, both written and spoken
